Gorilla player hangs on emulator

Hi there when trying to connect to my emulator on android the the above screen keeps showing and the spinner wont stop:

Works fine on my real device no issues at all.

Also if I put in the server entry the address and port number and press connect it connects fine. But doesnt show the row for me to tap and then connect to to finish and view:
