That error usually happens when the COM port is locked by something else, such as qFlipper is open. I'd recommend doing the following things:
- Unplug all USB devices except mouse/keyboard.
- Reboot the computer.
- Redownload the flasher (ZIP here).
- Do not start any software and plug in the devboard properly (holding the boot button).
- Attempt to flash again.
If it still fails, use the "update drivers" option to download and install the current drivers, then repeat the above. If it's still failing, we'll dive in a bit deeper.

I'd recommend rebooting the Flipper after plugging in the devboard. Sometimes it has power issues due to the 3.3V rail causing issues.

Good Morning
Thanks for your reply
If you are talking about restarting the flipper then I've done it
several times.
I'm pretty sure you are not talking about factory default
current me if I'm wrong
Usually I'm turning off the flipper, inserting the dev board and turning
the flipper in.
i have 2 flippers and 2 dev boards and I have the same issue with both of
them.
thanks for your help

The attachment did not show up. I'm less able to assist with Marauder issues after the flash, that's more in the realm of the app developer. Sorry you're having so many issues and wish there was more I could do.
