This is kind of a big task. I'll get this done by Wednesday's meeting.
For reference:

EVERYTHING SHOULD BE IN us-east-1. NOT OHIO

  • Create S3 bucket (to store lambda code)
  • Create RDS instance
  • Create a test lambda function
  • Create a test API
  • Create VPC
  • Configure all the network shenanigans
