To run this project

  • Follow the Laravel install guide to get required apps downloaded.
  • Clone the GitHub repository.
  • Run composer install to install all the required dependencies.
  • In the cloned GitHub repository on your local drive, find the file called .env.example
  • Copy and paste it under the same folder and change the name to .env
  • Run php artisan key:generate
    • Make sure your php version is 7.2 or 7.3.
    • If your php version is higher, downgrade. (On Mac, you can upgrade/downgrade by : brew unlink php@X.Y then brew link php@7.2 where php@X.Y is your current php version.)
    • You can check your php version through php -v or brew search php)
  • Run php artisan serve
