Sorry, I'll try to be specific.
Mac OSX 10.15.7
OBS 27.2.1
Created obs-random-videos.html in folder "Subscribe Overlays" using obs-random-videos in Terminal... This instance works just fine.

Created obs-random-videos.html in a different folder name "Cheers and Applause" using obs-random-videos in Terminal... The .html file is created correctly.

HOWEVER

Loading obs-random-videos.html in the folder "Cheers and Applause" plays the CONTENTS of the obs-random-videos.html folder named "Subscribe Overlays"

Hope this is clear enough.

So...

This COULD be an OBS issue, but I have no idea since OBS plays OTHER folders with no crossed file data.
