Is your feature request related to a problem?

At this point, the development pattern the was originally introduced in the persona bar template and what's since been evolved to with all of the other extensions, it seems we need to scrap this project template and re-introduce it as a brand new template.

Describe the solution you'd like

Remove the current persona bar template, and replace it with a new one.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Update the current one, but it's a mess and doesn't match what's in there right now.

Additional context

Replacing this template may allow us to reduce/replace some of the project dependencies.
