"The Fallen Idol" case crashes in the Blue Jazz Room cutscene

Is this a known error is it just a me problem? Everytime I try to play this cutscene when it enters the room it just crashes.

Have you tried with the patch disabled? I have no issues with this cutscene during my playthrough.

I tried with the framerate patch disabled and it works fine. When I unlock it, however, it immediately crashes when it tries to go through the door

I have never encountered this issue and I have no idea what causes it. Unless the game produces a crash log or error message of some sort, there is probably not much I can do.
