Error while capturing dump

Just followed the instructions for dump and am getting this error:

ps>> .\winpmem_v3.3.rc3.exe --output myimage.raw

IO_ERROR: at win_pmem.cc: 695
2023-10-18 10:50:50 E Imaging failed with error: IO_ERROR

How can we fix this?

Uhm, this seems to be an extremely outdated version, a very old precursor version maybe. Source file win_pmem.cc does not exist since the very existence of this velocidex repo, to my best knowledge. Or maybe it's from an unkown fork.

Please download the current version, https://github.com/Velocidex/WinPmem/releases/tag/v4.0.rc1
