New Customer Activation Notification Email Not Sending

Hi,
I have installed Netzarbeiter_CustomerActivation Version number: 0.5.3 on Magento Community ver. 1.8.1.0, everything working fine including activation except sending confirmation email to customer. Please help.

Hi,

Just installed in to 1.9.0.1 using Magento Connect and also getting the same issue.

Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce the issue on 1.9.
Are you are refering to the email notifying the customer that his account has been activates?
Or are you refering to the regular email confirmation email that are part of the Magento core functionality?

Hi Vinai,

I am facing the same issue.

User activation is working fine. Administrator is able to activate user from the back-end.

My only problem is there are no emails being send to user and Administrator upon registration. User should be able to receive a notification stating account has been activated while Administrator should be notified upon any user registration.

Magento ver. 1.9.0.1

Solution:
I checked my locale folder and there were missing files. Re-uploaded and it works fine.
