Thank you for this useful CLI tool.

I tested this tool on itself: vt.exe scan file --open --wait vt.exe

There are 3 positive detection results:

• Bkav Pro: W64.AIDetectMalware
• MaxSecure: Trojan.Malware.300983.susgen
• SecureAge: Malicious

Those results look like false positives, but I'd be curiouse what you think about them.

Yes, those are false positives. We are already in contact with them to get our binary allow-listed.

I'm closing the issue since there's nothing else to comment here.
