converted game wont work on Batocera, launch installation instead of the game

This stupid game forces a file to the root of C:\ Look here:https://github.com/flynnsbit/Top300_updates/blob/main/_C/TIE.CD

That is what I had to do to get it working in the pack.

Just creating a TIE.CD file in C:\ of the game ?

Yes, correct, that file has to be on C:\TIE.CD with the path to the "installed" directory, which for some reason I also had to have on C:\TIECD. That fixed everything. See the files here as well: https://github.com/flynnsbit/Top300_updates/tree/main/_C/TIECD
