Not sure how to correct this error- debug file deleted

Closed this issue · 6 comments

Not sure what is/ has caused this but I am getting this error on multiple cameras. ERROR> Debug: File has been deleted: D:\AIinput\Cmdcntr.20220529_175619763.jpg. (0ms, with 0 retries). Obviously the debug file is being erased but how do I correct? Thanks

A few thoughts:

  • If you have more than one camera spitting out images, have BI send each sent to its own folder and point each aitool camera to the folder rather than having 1000's of images build up in a single folder.
  • Try latest build: https://github.com/VorlonCD/bi-aidetection/tree/master/src/UI/Installer
  • Have BI reduce the number of images being created by making it a little less sensitive to detection or not record images for more than a few seconds for each movement.
  • BI may have an upper limit set on space used by the folder so it may have so much in there its deleting it before AITOOL can process it.
  • Anything special about D:\ drive? It should be a local SSD.

I'd really recommend a solid state drive for this. But for the external, replace USB cable, and maybe try running SMART diagnostic tests to see if its going bad. Like with Hard Disk Sentinel or the manufacturers drive diagnostic tool.

You had said have BI send each sent to its own folder, not sure if I understand or know how to do that, if you go into settings under clips/archiving you can rename folders but you can only select 1. I do not see where I can assign a folder to each camera. in the individual cameras under record-JPEGS I only get 4 choices on the folder drop down. On the Post tab I can pick individual target folders but I would need to be able to change to individual folders from the record tab..or am I missing something?

First, in Settings > Clips and Archiving, rename your existing FOLDER to a specific camera name and give it a unique path.

Then, click on each of the "AUX" settings to rename to another camera and duplicate the folder settings from the first one, each pointing to a new path.

Now, outside of settings, for each camera go to Properties > Record tab > FOLDER. Assign each camera the unique path you just configured before.

In AITOOL, make sure each camera is pointing to the appropriate path assigned to that camera in BI. The path on AITOOL Settings tab should be set to empty.

Thanks! I took the easy route, I just uninstalled it all and reinstalled. Problem fixed. 😆
