Does it support creating a taskbar, if not is this a planned feature, possibly as an extension?

nah it doesn't support now, but planned to add in future.

Going a bit off topic but regarding my last suggestion, in regards to having config done via code, I was wondering if it was going to be done through the main.rs file?
