Challenge survey selection behavior (brainstorming)

Closed this issue · 1 comments

Following #69 we can put a survey before or after to ask challenge questions. In talking with @TutiGomoka we realized a few points:

  1. we might want to have more than one type of challenge question at a time, e.g., "are you a robot" + "are you paying attention" + "are you willing to work hard" etc.
  2. this grouping will likely mirror the types of questions @TutiGomoka outlined in https://github.com/Watts-Lab/individual-mapping/issues/46 and will be aggregated accordingly into those dimensions of quality when we integrate the data.
  3. we have a variable sub_scale that appears in some surveys (e.g., IRQ) that could be used to record this grouping and do something like get n items from each quality sub scale. This might perhaps have the benefit that we can safely put many challenges in one csv.

I'm sure theres a few things to think about here, but just wanted to jot this down so we can start discussing it in more detail.

Closing because we seem to have settled for now.
