The original WebAssembly subreddit has been reinstantiated

Today I noticed that the old r/WebAssembly
subreddit has just been re-opened again, finally.
https://www.reddit.com/r/WebAssembly/
It was shut down by its moderators many months ago. I personally tried to take over the subreddit to re-open it, but was denied due to missing experience as Reddit moderator.
I don't know the person who reinstantiated the old r/WebAssembly
subreddit, so I don't know their motivation, nor if they are part of the old moderators (with their presumably malicious behavior towards the WebAssembly community) or a new one. Edit: The new r/WebAssembly
moderator is not part of the old moderator and also created r/webassemblydev
after the original subreddit closed down.
In any case it would be the best for the WebAssembly community to have a singular meeting point which should be the original r/WebAssembly
. I am trying to get in contact with the moderator of r/WebAssembly
and see if we can collaborate.
The WebAssembly website should link to r/WebAssembly
instead of r/WebAssembly2
.
