Just to be sure that the issues in #120 are not due to some issue in the EMU, I want to re-run the acceptance test on my old macbook
Macbook Pro Retina 15 inch Late 2013
2.3GHz Intel Core i7
15GB 1600MHz DDR3
laptop connected with plain (no coils) USB cable directly to EMU. Same cable as used for tsting on the new MBP
Only other connection is power cable.
No network, no wifi.
Setting the rate with the EMU control panel, not from reaper.

Flawless, everything works first time, not a single tick. I had almost forgotten how smooth this test should be, with the troubles on the new machine
