Window not resizable

I have a 1080p screen, and would like to expand the application window to use it. This is not possible. This is made even more strange when there are elements inside the application window (the right hand side bar) which don't fit in the window, and require scrolling. If the window allowed resizing then I could fit the entire sidebar in the window, and not have to scroll.
