Question about needing the whole of Stability AI repos

This looks like an amazing tool. I can't wait to try it out. I'm wondering if we need to clone the whole of both of these repos?

git clone https://github.com/Stability-AI/stablediffusion

Is there code within these repos that's called? Or is it possible to just download the models? Asking because I'm running out of space on my AWS EC2 instance, and so would rather not download more than I need to.
