Preview does not show website title from siteconfig

Please give us a description of what happened.

The google snippet preview does not show the website title that I set in the typo3 site config. In FE TYPO3 renders this:

Website title: page title

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

The preview should render the website title and should also consider config.pageTitleFirst

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. set a website title in site config
  2. open a page in backend, open the SEO tab
  3. website title is not shown in the google snippet preview

Technical info

  • TYPO3 version: 11.5.30
  • Yoast SEO version: 8.3.1
  • Relevant extensions in case of a bug: seo (core ext) 11.5.30
