@otksm I don't see actual difference by hiding it and it's not clickable either. Is there any reason you still want to hide it?

It does pushes the footer up a little bit and helps reduce unnecessary scrolling I guess? But yeah not a major issue.

Generally I address such case. Do you know if it's used anywhere other than https://dec.2chan.net/70/futaba.php?mode=cat? I ask because on the page I see literally no difference on Firefox.

AFAIK all pages in catalog mode are affected e.g. https://zip.2chan.net/1/futaba.php?mode=cat. I am also testing on Firefox but with 2chan.net###rightadc I see much less vertical space between <table> and - GazouBBS + futaba- text.
