Substitute special characters

I have files with colons (:) and questions marks which are valid on one file
system but not another (mainly fat/vfat).
It would be great if we could specify a substitute character or characters, eg
-s : - -s ? --
could substitute a colon with a dash and substitute a question mark with
nothing (-- symbolizes nothing in this case)
If the above makes things too complex then perhaps just a single substitution
character may be sufficient.

Sorry - not a defect but a Enhancement request. Don't know how to change the
Type.

Request changed. It sounds like an interesting idea. I would most likely make
it support regular expressions, so people can mush the output file format any
way they like.
This however, would most likely be part of version 4 of flat2all, rather than
current stable.
