i tried using one of the new builds here because EnergyControl-1.12.2-0.1.15 loads but i was getting crash logs using a energy sensor on certain blocks like ender IO capacitors etc.

crash with EnergyControl-1.12.2-0.2.0e

seems to load tho with EnergyControl-1.12.2-0.1.8i

still getting crashes using energy sensor and generator sensor on blocks from mods like flux networks / ender io etc
