this repack comes with VC++ 2019 14.29.30040.0 and it gets installed perfect on WinXP

however the repack v35 says this is the last version 14.28.29213.0 for WinXP

Does it work correctly though?

even latest version can be installed on WinXP, but will not work because:

  • it does not contain UCRT (last version have it 14.29.30024.0 )
  • it require functions dll imports that exist only on Vista, Win7, Win8 or later (last version compatible is 14.28.29213.0)

I have just realized that there's a new zip file with ''XPSP3'' code name.
is there any difference to the older XP zip file ?
the x86_x64 installer contains the UCRT folder but I'm not sure 32-bit WinXP will benefit from this.

x86_x64 was/is for all Windows, it doesn't support removal for XP x86 or hiding ARP entries

XPSP3 is specific for XP x86 and support all features
