The --verbose option appears to be functioning like --version

$ gbr2ngc -v /tmp/protoboard.cmp -o /tmp/protoboard.cmp.nc
version 0.8.2
$ gbr2ngc --verbose /tmp/protoboard.cmp -o /tmp/protoboard.cmp.nc
version 0.8.2
