having a really hard time getting this to run on ArchLinux. knowing with which python this should be working would allow to exclude half of the debugging. thank you. =)

Oh stick with Python 2.7.x for now just to rule out any weird issues with 3.x. We're working getting everything to work with 3.x in the near future. Thanks for checking out the library!
