Playback on Android TV stuck on spinning wheel

Opened this issue · 3 comments

Since 2 days the vtmgo addon keeps showing the spinning wheel when starting a playback stream, without error message.
Live streams are working.
The problem occurs with Kodi 19.3 on a Android TV (version 11) with the latest vtmgo addon (version 1.4.2).
No problem on mij Windows computer.
I already tried a cache clear and a cold start of the TV, but this didn't solve the problem.

The second time i try to start a playback stream, i have the option to continue playing from the previously elapsed time.
It seems that the playing is started but the video is not show on the screen (and there is no sound).
This looks like a bug.

According to the timebar (witch is moving forward) the video is indeed playing, but no video is shown and there is no sound.
Setting Inputstream Adaptive to manual stream selection and then in vtmgo selecting any other stream does not solve it,
all stream's play but without video and sound.
PS: Only the vtmgo addon has this problem
Is it safe to install Widevine from InputStream Helper debug configuration page on a Android TV?
I think that Widevine is build in in Android TV.

Updating to v1.4.3 did not solve the problem.
