Container Component does not create column

priyankpardiwala opened this issue · 4 comments

  • I installed 0.10.0 version of the email core components package.
  • Created a new editable template.
  • Added the Container Component in the Structure of the template
  • Edited the dialog for Container component and selected 2 column layout.

Expected Behavior:
2 side by side containers are created by the container component.

Actual behavior:
Creates only 1 full width container.

Hi @stein-rockware / @noorradi - were you able to replicate this issue? If not, I will probably need your help to find out what I am doing wrong in my template.

Hi @priyankpardiwala,
I followed the steps mentioned after adding the container container the layout selected is reflected correctly, I cant seem to replicate this issue.
Lets discuss this in Tomorrow's meeting.
Kind Regards,
Noor Radi

Hi @noorradi,
Sorry, we had a holiday yesterday and could not attend the meeting.

I tried to use components in 2 different environments (sandbox + dev) and I was able to reproduce the issue in both environments.

@priyankpardiwala If you use a proxy component of the container you have to make sure that you also copy the cq:template folder from the container superType as this is not getting inherited. Otherwise the required structure is not getting created.
