Opened this issue · 4 comments

I want to install Hungarian dictionarie files but I can't see any .dictionary extension file only .data , .css , .index ...
What should I do to make .dictionary file what I can copy the right place for machos dict.app?

Thank you in advance,
George

To install for your user only you need to copy the .dictionary file(s) to ~/Library/Dictionaries. Then open the Dictionary.app and open its preferences, mark needed dictionaries.

Thank you the quick answer.
I know this but I can’t see any file with this extension in hungarian section.

Ah sorry I misunderstood your question. You need to download the whole .dictionary folder with Contents and everything there is in that directory. Not sure what is the simplest way to download only certain dictionaries, if you are ok with using terminal — svn export can do the trick (svn export https://github.com/afischer/osx-dictionaries/trunk/hungarian/hun-eng.dictionary), if not, you can download all files one by one and reconstruct the directory, but it is error prone, or download the complete repository archive and take only needed dictionaries, but it is around half a gigabyte.
