We cannot use Openrouter.ai for embeddings, because there are no embedding models being served.
Describe the solution you'd like
The addition of closed and open embedding models to Openrouter. For open models with multilingual capabilities l suggest BGE-M3 and nomic-embed-text-v1.5.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I’ve tried OpenAI with prepaid credits. It works, but the strength of Openrouter is that you can use many models with one API.
