aidecoe/plymouth-openrc-plugin

Is this work developed by someone else?

First of all, excellent work. It's 2017 and OpenRC it's on its 0.23.2 version, and this plugin still works! even when shutting down!
Although it would be interesting to know if there is a fork or continuation of this very good work. Does anyone knows any? Thanks!

P.S.: I'm building a PKGBUILD of this program to upload it to the Arch Linux User Repository (AUR), so that's why I want to know about a more modern replacement, but anyway, this one is awesome.

other question, is this plugin cross-architecture? at least for x86 and amd64 (and armv7h I hope!)

I am glad it still works. Unfortunately nobody is developing it. Neither sys-boot/plymouth-openrc-plugin nor sys-boot/plymouth is maintained by anyone in Gentoo. On the other hand if neither OpenRC nor Plymouth changes API / command line arguments it should keep working fine.

As long as it compiles and both OpenRC and Plymouth is working on that architecture that should work as well. Although I have not tested it on anything else than x86 and amd64.
