Pug/Jade Support in Vue Components in React

I setup pug support as outlined in the Vue documentation but Vuera is not compiling to the templates before trying to work with them. Has anyone gotten pug/jage support working with Vuera?

Here's the error I get when the component can't load because it hasn't processed the pug template: [Vue warn]: Unknown custom element: <module>
