Unable to Setup/Pair some devices using MQTT to Home Assistance/Mosquitto MQTT

I'm unable to pair the mss550 smart switch & msg100 smart garage door opener via MQTT. I'm only able to get those 2 devices types paired with Home Assistant/Mosquitto MQTT using IP connectivity and not MQTT.

So, it would seem that there is an issue with pairing newer HomeKit compatible devices. This is the common factor with the devices (mss550 & msg100) that have problems properly pairing using MQTT. These devices end up getting configured for the WiFi network but are essentially not connected to anything, well perhaps they have somehow also connected to the Meross Cloud, though I doubt that. There is a lot of mention on this thread about this issue.

Just following up to more than likely close this as I have since been able to successfully pair the mss550 devices I was having problems with before. What this all really came down to was an issue using the empty device key hack with the Meross LAN Home Assistant integration. After ensuring that I use a valid device key, and setup the proper password these devices have successfully been able to connect. I haven't tried repairing my garage door opener yet however. I am choosing to stay away from HomeKit compatible devices as long as I can still get them.
