Feature Request: Bitshares Style Desktop Program nodes, We need to ensure Front end (repost from alcor telegram)

TLDR: We need a Bitshares Style Desktop Program to be a node that ensures alcor is never down like I saw happened today from the front end. The Back end is all just transactions on eosio which cannot go down, and what i learned from steemit is simple: the nodes can be decentralized but the front end usually isnt BUT CAN be. Bitshares never has issues when people are able to connect from a desktop or mobile app which also acts as a witness node. Imagine Alcor Chain with so many Bps and each one runs a front end server as well as the back end.

hmm alcor is down? @avral hah we NEED to ensure the frontend site is never off, or can be DDOSed. we must start teh work i tried to get people to do a while ago. we can use cloudflare for the front end but we should have our OWN fronte nd and domain system,. fuck it letrs have a completely new system for eveyrthing cradle to grave lol

whats the best way to keep a website up foreever? i wante dfto even look at using a front end for steemit hosted on IPFS and torrent etc, wher the actual front end node is all public and hosted in the cloud in a way no oen can ever take down

basicaly imagine every one download an alcor exchange program for windows mac and linux, and we can all run alcor nodes and get paid EOS or telos or an alcor governance token but we should just use eos and tleo itself ;) we can even become a defi tool. we should just copy bitshares
