A code hosting service. Its Onion address is http://vivmyccb3jdb7yij.onion. Its Onion address is only available on HTTP that I am aware of.

how many people use this?

Honestly I have no idea.

This is a service of Riseup, which is already listed. Since v2s are on the road to deprecation, they've moved to a v3, http://wmj5kiic7b6kjplpbvwadnht2nh2qnkbnqtcv3dyvpqtz7ssbssftxid.onion and proof can be found at Riseup's list of their Onion services (http://vww6ybal4bd7szmgncyruucpgfkqahzddi37ktceo3ah7ngmcopnpyyd.onion/en/security/network-security/tor#riseups-tor-onion-services). The v2 at time of writing is still active but redirects to the v3.

This is a GitLab instance that allows anyone to sign up and create one repository. For further repositories, a request needs to be made. There are a variety of public projects that can be seen at http://wmj5kiic7b6kjplpbvwadnht2nh2qnkbnqtcv3dyvpqtz7ssbssftxid.onion/explore.

One value to this is that it could mirror this project, making it possible to have an Onion serving the content, which would make a lot of sense.
