Query string for date searches not working

When I make a search including date filters. The query string is correct, but the filters are not set accordingly.

Example: http://stage.alerce.online/?firstmjd=59243&count=true&page=1&perPage=20&sortBy=probability&sortDesc=true

You see that firstmjd filter is set in the querystring but the actual filter is not applied.
