Inventory Tags plugin not working right

Normally all I have to do is shift click an item in your inventory and hover over "inventory tag" option and it pops up a side menu that allows me to use previous colors or pick a new one. That side menu is not popping up for me and clicking the inventory tag option just makes the right click menu go away and nothing else. Any help or advice to get this working right again would be helpful! Thanks!
