'Share Search' control lacks validation

The 'Share Search' tool at the bottom of the home page isn't validated in any way - it's possible to enter invalid postcodes and literally anything in the keyword box, which produces unhelpful links. It may be more useful to remove it entirely from the home page (where there are no visible keywords, and the user postcode has yet to be entered), and instead move it towards the top of the search results page, possibly immediately below the 'Customise Results' section. If this move were made it should be possible to pre-populate the generated link with a valid postcode, and whatever categories had been selected to that point, resulting in a verified usable link.
