How to limit items just to current folder?

Currently, Allusion populates all item from current folder and its subfolders. it is annoying and slow.

Could you specify what you mean with populating? We added an option on adding a new location to select which sub folders are included, so you could deselect all sub folders. If the location was already added, you can still change which sub locations to include and exclude afterwards. In the Locations panel you can open the context menu for a sub location where you can select the exlude/include option.

I think they mean that when you click a folder in the locations panel, it shows images from all sub-folders in addition to the images of the folder you clicked, which can indeed be slow if you have loads of them.

This is actually one of the key features of Allusion, which most users and myself really like. I don't think it's even possible at the moment to only filter images in the exact folder you pick. But, we can look into a way of making that possible too 👍

Yeah!! I love that Allusion shows all images in a directory rather than just the parent one.

add "exact path" checkbox, maybe.
or regex checkbox.
