Crash on update check when no internet available

Hi,
I've spoken too quickly the other day, actually the issue with it crashing when the firewall is active and not allowing any internet traffic is still around.
I tend to block all traffic but the browser…
Some core functionality (link un-shortening, office 365 link unwrapping) depends on internet access. While it shouldn't crash (i'll fix this) some features won't be available if you block internet, including update checks.

Yes, one of the reasons I block all software from the internet is because I dislike being constantly reminded about updates. My attention span is short, and I can easily become distracted when this occurs. However, I ensure that I update everything by the end of the day.
