Upgrade to Akka 2.8.x & Scala 3

Would there be any plans of upgrading to the lastest versions of akka?

Is there anything specific that is not working with Akka 2.8?
Updating to any newer version of Akka would be an issue due to the license change.
We are currently more focused on moving things over to Apache Pekko and providing pekko-kryo-serialization as replacement.

Currently no plans to move to newer versions of akka because of the license change. Closing this issue.
Scala3 support already provided and up to date...
