Non-standard bracing

My goal is to simulate a non-standard bracing to see whether its behavior is still comparable to the standard one and acceptable. But I realize I can't do this with FM-2D.. Is there a plan to implement free bracing definitions (basically the ability to define any configuration of structural elements)? Or is there some software where one can freely draw the frame, specify the parameters of each element, and get a simulation?

You can use FM-2D to create a reference model (say a CBF) using the "Build TCL" button and then maually modify the TCL file (to add the new brace element/definition/subroutine/etc) and then run the modified TCL file in FM-2D.
