Custom diff filenames

Is it possible to pass a different name to a diff file? I'm comparing screenshots from various browsers against one snapshot (customSnapshotIdentifier does not contain the browser identifier) and am having two issues:
- after multiple failed tests, it's difficult to keep track which browser failed
- when failed test is followed by a pass, the diff image is deleted
