Who will use this?
As stated in the README, the only requirement is an internet connection, but there are constraints regarding payment amounts and there's some technical knowledge required at the moment.
I can think of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops as potential users, but I'm sure there are many more.
Please comment below if
- You are someone who might use Kasisto. What kind of place, are there any special requirements?
- You know someone who might want to use Kasisto, and are able to help him set things up
- I forgot any obvious use cases above
Just a quick thought:
I think there is a possibility in the USA in states that have legalized cannabis but are at odds with the federal government.
For instance, in CA businesses will be able to produce/sell these products to certain stores that meet specific criteria to sell these items to the public, which will open them up to potential raids/seizures from the federal government, which I would assume would also freeze their assets held in traditional bank accounts.
That entire supply chain would benefit from Monero, but the stores selling to the public could directly benefit from this project.
Paying with Monero could also protect their customers identities and potentially their funds as well.
Also, hotels?
Flea market
I will like to use it in a coffeshop. The problem is that prices of products are very low (1 USD for a coffe).
I will use it among other cryptoC.
Thanks for help
@Concorde89 With bulletproofs around the corner, I hope fees will be low enough to use it for really small payments ($5 maybe). At the moment, I would say it's best for payments ranging from USD 20 up to a couple hundred USD.
Exactly my point. I am looking for methods of accepting several (feeless) crypto using some POS software.
I like to use it for Taxi or decentralized uber like services.
