Describe the bug
If a protocol is not supported on a platform, there are no error messages shown when importing the configuration, or when the connection fails.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a OpenVPN/ShadowSocks server.
  2. Share the connection.
  3. Import it to an Android phone.
  4. Try to connect, and fail.

Expected behavior
At step 3, there should be an error message that OpenVPN over ShadowSocks doesn't work on Android or iOS. I only accidentally noticed that the lack of support is conveyed in an image on https://amnezia.org/en > List of supported protocols by platform.

Smartphone:

  • Device: Android/iPhone

Additional context
In general the app is not very intuitive nor transparent, on the phone I can save the logs to a file, but the file contains only lines that show the state as connected and disconnected.
