Add examples

We should have a few examples, a producer and a consumer at least.

You mean pseudo-code in the README or an examples folder of working stuff?

An examples directory with some runnable code, but one of them can also be embedded into the Readme.

We have some examples on the website now, but maybe these could be turned into runnable examples.
