Terraform Init is failing at the provider level

I started using the one password setups and added the provider to my main.tf file and the Terraform Init is failing at the provider level:
**Error: Failed to install provider

Error while installing hashicorp/onepassword: provider registry
registry.terraform.io does not have a provider named
registry.terraform.io/hashicorp/onepassword**

Here is my portion from my main.tf file:
#adding 1Password connection info
provider "onepassword" {
#email = "john.smith@example.com"
#password = "super secret master password"
secret_key = "xx-xxxx-xxx-xxxx-x-xxxx-xxx"
subdomain = "My Company Name"
}
