If the already amazing Mac Dial added rudimentary MIDI support, effectively letting the MSSD operate as a standard MIDI controller with the option to set any MIDI CC number, then applications like Final Cut could be controlled via the open source https://commandpost.io project or similar - besides any already MIDI capable app of course, like Logic Pro. The number of creative purposes would be virtually endless.

Also, if Mac Dial supported multiple connected MSSD:s, it would just be a simple matter of buying an additional cheap MSSD if you need more control. Wow.
