Be wary of failed first retrieval attempts

When adding a feed or when restarting with a fresh database, if the first attempt to get a feed returns an empty feed, or there is a network error, during the second pass the feed will receive all the articles and see them as new, producing flood.

Either think about a global limit or have a "Feed has 20 new items".
