The site should be almost exactly the same with JavaScript disabled (exception of any live javascript examples)

  • No inline styles for the portrait in bio (ends up square without JavaScript)

Done! I switched to Next.js and even wrote a post about how to remove all JavaScript in Next.js while producing exactly the same HTML and CSS.
