Add background services

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We really need background services, for sending notifications (maybe sending toast messages idk).
My usecase: A realtime messanger which shows notifications while the app is closed (which is impossible without background services).
Describe the solution you'd like
That you are able to make the app being able to run in the backround (and also being able to do so without that annoying notification "An app is running in the background").
